I Need a ABS control module for my 1990 MKVII LSC

The actual problem I had was:

The brake pedal went down low.
The brake light is on.
It makes buzzing sound when the brake is pressed hard.

I'm not fixing it myself.
the mechanic told me I heed an ABS control module.

I checked around on my own and found used complete ABS assemblys for
250 - 400 used and 660 rebuilt.

The mechanic found what he needed for about 150, so it sounds like he
found the electronics parts without the whole assembly

When the pressure accumulater was replaced last August by a different mechanic the brake light on the left stayed on. They didn't find out why, so they put some tape over it (ha ha). The brake light on the right stayed off.

This time the the brake light on the right is on.

The brake pedal went down real low, and makes a buzzing sound when its pressed down hard.
It can stop the car with power assist, but I didn't want to take a chance driving it like that.

If its not the abs module what do you think it is?

when I had my 87 I learned a really easy and cheap way to fix the brake problem when the accumulator goes bad.
you will no longer have abs but it cost me less then a hundred bucks to do it.
get a brake booster out of a fox mustang its vacuum operated, then get a master cylinder out of an early 90's crown vic. (big reservoir, will fit the mustang booster and you can get them from a jobber for like 20 bucks.)
you need to run a proportioning valve on the rear brake line to balance it out. or it brakes too hard in the rear ( that's not always good)
thats it. took me a couple of hours to do only because the mark7 accumulator can be a PITA to get out

Which brake light is on, the red one or the yellow one?

It actually sounds like the accumulator, but possibly a relay. Pull ABS codes.

the one on the right is yellow.

The one on the left may be red but I'm not sure because it was taped over for a while.

The one on the lower right is on ( yellow ).
