I have a right rear brake light out and I have replaced the bulb and it still doesn't work. What could this be? I checked the old bulb in the other side and it works, so it isn't the bulb. Cops are awful here about pulling cars over for brake lights being out. Anyone have any opinions on what it could be????
Thanks for you help.

I just checked the fuse box in the trunk, and the fuse for the right brake light is good so it isn't the fuse box. This is driving me nuts.

double check the connector. Make sure it is clean and not corroded. Put a little bit of dielectric grease in it.

If that doesn't do it, you'll have to get a multi-meter and start tracing it back to where you lose voltage.
