i need help

Buy the Xcal2. The X3 is having allot of problems right now.

does the XCal 2 void your warranty? ive been waiting for it to be up before i got one...maybe i wont have to.

No a custom tune doesn’t void your warranty. Just to avoid any hassle with a dealer, reload the stock tune before taking in for work. I just had some work done by the dealer, it takes just minutes to load a tune, and there is no trace of previous tune.

What kind of problems??

Problems with people uploading tunes to them, problems with uploading tunes to certain vehicles, datalogging not working, not reading certain vehicles, firmware updates screwing many other things up and overall bugginess. For 99% of people they will not even know of or have the need to take advantage of the differences between the Xcal2 and the Xcal3. The Xcal2 has been around long enough where it is tried and true and pretty much all bugs have been worked out.

XCal II

Newbie jumping on the bandwagon here:

Get your xCal II from Torrie and enjoy what the LS should have been when it left the show room floor.

Recently picked up my '04 LSE, Torrie 'tuned it for me. I added a KKM cold air intake and now love the kick-in-the pants responsiveness. Just a few days ago had two COPs fail. Check engine light on and the whole nine yards... Had them replaced under warranty and had no hassles whatsoever from the dealer with the custom tune I had loaded when I brought it in.

Torrie at FPN is great. He's absolutely maniacal about customer service and a treat to deal with. Go with the XCal II. 'Tune it and enjoy!

Is there a huge difference in using a XCal 2 or a SF 9415 PCM Flash Tool ??
(both from SCT)
