I shall be seen (Pictures)

Wow you had a transmission change?!?!? Damn I guess if even yours went bad then mine will eventualy go out too & I'm at 148k...F**K!

Things are made to break.

If cars never broke down manufacturers would not make money selling parts since nothing would need to be fixed.

Hell look at military vehicles.

The shell might be 25+ years old but everything else has been replaced so its almost like a new vehicle.

Oh trust me I will. I've already gone threw with every other common problem the only one I had left was the degas bottle but that just went bad & I changed it out last weekend & I've also done almost a complete front suspension rebuild. So to stop at a transmission wouldn't make sense to me it's just that it sounds like huge pain in the f'ing ass.

Very nice Ls i really like the color, what rear bumper do you have?

I should have went ahead and changed my degas when i had it flushed just to be ahead.

With these cars we should always keep a spare stock of plugs, coils, and degas bottles.

And timing chain tensioners. I was at the liquor store today, and another ls was in the lot, and I could hear the timing chain from a good 30 feet away with the hood closed. I waited for about 10 minutes to inform the owner, but theywere taking too long in the store so I left.

You could hear the timing chain? What does that sound like?

I could hear the metallic clank clank clank... I wanted to let them know before it breaks completely.

Hmmm... something to look out for. Hyelife your LS is one of my absolute favorites!!!

Very nice!

No tint looks nice, but I still prefer the tint look.

Thanks. I think it looks beautiful without tints. The light interior is really makin the car stand out.

That's because mechanical parts wear out.

Yes...but some much faster and sooner than others.

It seems like modern cars dont last as long as older vehicles from the 70's and 80's.

I don't know........ Our '91 Sable had 175K miles on it when we traded it for our 2000 LS; which has over 172K miles. Yes, I had to replace the solenoid pack, coils, VC gaskets and other wear items.

I already see your LS everyday when I startup my LS :D
Used an old shot of your's as my Z120BT's splashscreen :
