A kid at work had a black 88 lsc, teated it w/no repect, said he wanted rid of it.I asked how much? he replied, your millwaukee kit.You can buy the kit on ebay for as little as 250.So it made it 2 miles from my house, towtruck got it the rest of the way.Seems to be alternator issue for starters, along with no suspension.Wish me luck gents.Ive always wanted a lsc, suppose I gotta start somewhere. :feedback

:W to :V :Beer There are people in the MarkVII forum that will help if needed.

Make sure if you change the alternator, that you change the regualtor as well.

Good luck with the car and welcome aboard.

when checking out the charging system, make sure car is ground well. These cars have many grounding issues. Good Luck!!!

WARNING!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE ABOUT TO BECOME OBSESSED WITH A PIECE OF STEEL, LEATHER, GLASS, PLASTIC,ETC. THAT WIL GIVE YOU TREMENDOUS PLEASURE IF YOU TREAT IT RIGHT!!!!!!! :dancefool :L

Which Milwaukee tool kit was it? Sounds like a decent deal, unless it $.05 & $.10's you to death.

Good luck.

In this order, replace the battery, alternator and regulator, ignition switch.

If it got no respect then you will really really really notice a completely different car.

What have you done since getting it?

I can dig it.
I'm on a Broke-Dude-Budget also.

Our batteries start around $50.00 Don't skimp. You'd make out better waiting another week to buy the CORRECT battery than hurrying and getting the ionexpensive/undersized battery. Let me know when you can wake the car up. Individualy, tune up items are less than $100.00 each. I like to do something for my cars each payday ... even if it means just buying a few
