You can tell by looking at the unit after removing the cover that goes across the top under the hood. The HIDs have a "Danger High Voltage "warning sticker. You can also tell two other ways. 1. Watch as the low beams come on in a darkened garage. If they flicker and then go bright white, they are HIDs. 2. You can turn on the High & low beams and if the low beams are obviously whiter than the high beams, you probably have HID low beams. I say probably, because if the bulbs have been switched to Hoen's then number 2 will not apply.n8bachelor said:
