Factory Ford O2 sensors I got the longer whip ones to reach where I need. 20 dollars a piece how can you beat that?

Stock conv is 43 lbs the new one is 32lbs 11lbs savings. Just look at the size difference. WOW

are there more of those 02 sensors for sale ? is 2800 enough of a stall. isnt that about the same as a stock marauder? hell whats a stock mark stall at ?

These say not for mk8 but there all the same. Opps it does say fits 1993,1994 MK8. I might have to grind off the "keys" on the barrel. I have not installed them yet but they will work.

That stall is enough for me and better then stock. This conv went mid 12's NA behind a 4.6L in stang.

you are lucky to grab that because i almost took it at the 200 dollar price he offered it for. i just kinda want a 3200 stall not sure why dont really have a reason i just like that number. .. when you do put those o2's in please document any modification to make them fit. im pretty sure my set are stock from 96 :) it might be worth replacing them
 
This came in today and fits mint and no more squeal hitting 2nd gear.

Was bored today and wanted to do the "Octane" mod so banged that out today. You will be assimilated, resistance is futile. Thanks Octane. I will provide american #'s to go by, none of that wacky metric stuff.
The rears the most you can take off is .700 because you then end up hitting the inside large nub. I dykem then take calipers set at .700 and scribe around. This will give me nice str8 cut line. I used whizzer wheel and left 1/16 inch and took down to line on the belt sander.

You also have to whizzer off the 45's that are on inner large nub, just remove them and blend. I also chopped like 1/2 inch off the bottom locking tabs. Here they are done.

The struts, I didn't want to go the 15.5 mm that was stated. I went .015 over 15mm which is .600. The .600 is distance from center of stock hole to center of new upper hole. The dia of hole should be like .550.

It was tight so needed to grind down the parting line of lower control arm,mostly on drivers side.

why when i look up that belt number it says it doesn't fit mark viii. am i missing something. id like to get a new one for mine since its probably on its way out and i was rather upset to find out they dont sell em around here anymore

I think I posted already 1993 and I think 1994 list 98 inch only 95 and 96 list 98 and 97.5. This is on my 95 and it fits mint.
 
My car is stock. If you look on Rock auto they list 97.5 and 98 for 1996 MK8.

Yea i was actually just looking at some the ones listed on advance they were all 97.5. I think i take the chance on it. my current gatorback is old and worn im surprised i havnt had any issues in the last 2 years with it.

got mine in yesterday. its on the car now. fits pretty snug but im noticing my voltage is a little lower then normal. hopefully its just because it was a little rainy out when it was put on. thanks for sharing the part number tho.

1/2 in length will have no effect on pulley speed. Glad I could help.
 
neat you got some springs. so how about educating us dumb folks on why it was a good deal what the difference between these and stock are ?

All sets of conical 32 valve spring go for around 500 dollars from Comp or Livermores?. These springs fit stock retainers which Comps don't so you then have to spend more money on their retainers. These springs will handle .525 lift and are good for most of the cam choices out there. Cost 199 delivered from Brain Tooley Racing. These are suppose to be reboxed Manley Nextec springs (best out there)which go for 500. And I was leading most people to the next step with showing springs.
 
Geez. I didn't think those Gen1s were safe past 6500 with the old style valve springs.

I am making less power and it dies off earlier than you (obviously). I think 7000 rpms on my car was a bad idea.

Like mentioned that 7000 is off stock tach. Who knows what that really is. I know car slows down if I lower any of the shift points. I don't know what the rev limit was raised to but I can hit that no problem if I WOT from a roll not a dig. That's one weird thing.
 
re; those lenses for the courtesy lamps at the door bottoms; to keep them from falling out, did you mod/repair broken ones? or just get lenses that still had all three tabs in place?
