Idles High.....when going 80km\h

So when I am parked and put her in Nuetral, she idles fine...but when I am moving...ie 80....and put her in Nuetral....the revs shoot up...(3500).I have never had this with any car I have ever owned....the RPMs should drop to normal idle.....Any ideas?? anyone have this problem??

Well what I would like to know is why are you tossing it in neutral at 80 miles per hour?


EDIT:...Oh wait never mind, your in Canada. Different measurement up there but why are you putting it in neutral while in drive anyway?

lol....I have no idea....But I know I have done this in other cars as well.....and it never went higher....

I would think it's a safety measure so you don't f*ck up your transmission doing something stupid.
