If the LS was still made today.....

Lincoln doesnt make any more V8 sedans.....last was the towncar and they stopped production.

It isn't so much about being pointless as seeing what tends to interest one person vs the next. We all know it is not going to happen. We may have the last of the Lincoln v8' sedans.

Unfortunately, Sir, you are most likely correct.

Thanks for your invaluable feedback.

Edit: I have been a member since 07 and have accumulated 877 posts. You have been a member since 2010 and are nearly 1000 posts ahead of me. So, I wonder who pehaps has more "pointless" posts?

I have more posts because I was laid off for a while and I have mucho knowledge to share with the Mark bretheren. I make my pointless posts in the LS section just like everyone else.

I feel the LS stopped selling due to lack of changes to the car. I know they made quite a few changes from the gen1 to gen2's but they still look VERY much the same. I think if Lincoln keep making positive changes and evolved the car, (like most car companies do) the LS would still be around.

Than again Lincoln has been making poor decisions the last several years.

I would love to see 3 Versions sold.

2013 Lincoln LS--3.5L Ecoboost V6 370HP 18" Standard Wheels,19" Optional
2013 Lincoln LSE-5.0L V8 420HP 19"x9" Front Rims/19"x10" Rear Rims Black
2013 Lincoln LS-R-6.2L S/C V8 650HP 19" Forged Polished 5 Spoke Wheels

It kinda is still made today.... The Jaguar XF.

But yes coyote motor or 3.5L ecoboost with rwd and 8.8 LSD. Could use the same styling as the ford falcon but with Lincoln touches.

I like this. The 3.5 ecoboost and the 5.0 are and even the 3.7 as a base motor are all competant pieces. I'd say more 5.8L S/C from the GT500 over the 6.2 but the point is a halo car.

And one big thing a manual transmission option

Well, that certainly didn't help, but...

The LS we never marketed very well. The older traditional Lincoln buyers had money enough for the LS, but most weren't interested in a performance car. The few younger buyers who did look at it, mostly couldn't afford it. Lincoln didn't give it enough time to find the market.

Now, Lincoln is becoming just the new Mercury. They might as well of closed Lincoln down instead of Mercury. Instead of competing with BMW, Lexus, and so on, Lincoln's competing with Buick.

Doodling in class today.. '12 LS front end :p

Hell yeah, that's sick... I like the black around the headlights kinda reminds me of war paint with eyeblack.

^^^ Maybe a little less sport and a little more luxury/sleekness. It looks like a beefed up fusion. I'm not saying its not nice, just saying its not "lincoln" material. I'd buy that ford if it was here though, is that the the falcon in Australia?

4 doors + boss = :hump:

The plot thickens with different looks. I liiiiiiike. Soop.....u are very talented my friend.

reminds me of fangs...i am in love with that car.

It would be sick as a Lincoln and could compete with the CTS-V. Ford can dominate they just wont.

Caddilac's were the ultimate grandpa vehicles and now look.
