Hello LVC,
I am sort of a noob, as this is my first post, but i have been hanging around here for years and became a member about 2 months ago. I do not own a lincoln LS, but my mother has an black 02 V8 sport and my grandfather has an 04 vivid red LSE. As you can imagine, my passion for the LSE is immense and my grandfather is thinking of selling it. I am going to negotiate with the dealer on my grandfathers LSE tomorrow and i know KBB is way off as far as prices go (I can get an 06 with almost no miles for less that KBB rates the 04). Therefore, i need some of your opinions for what you would be willing to pay for an 04 vivid red LSE mint with 32,000 miles (NO nav, NO parking sensors, NO sat. radio, NO aftermarket) The dealer is anywhere from $18,600-$19,000, which i think is a bit high. I have a huge sentimental appreciation for this car and any response is appreciated.
sorry for the long post.
thank you!

id think theyd give you around 17 to 18 for it. theyd probably sell it for around 22. dealers usually want to make like 4-5 profit on turnaround

That is a very nice looking car. I personally love the color. :D

I'd go for $17 - $18 as well.

jgfish, i love ur angel eyes (and the color too)
thanks for the quick response, anyone else please post, i need this info before early sunday morning.

The best thing for you to do is scrape up that cash by then, they love cash on hand and will go down then. I dont know how much but....

I paid $18600 for my 04 non LSE(just LS), and it had 29K on it, and with the exception of the color matched rocker, and front and rear trim, it looks as clean as that one. Does the LSE trim reall get another $2 to $4K?

yes the LSE will bring another $2-4K. The body kit is VERY expensive and all the other interior trim on top of that. Thats a sweet car. I would buy that ASAP!!

i think its gone guys
its just impractical, im only 16 lol
and ive got amazing parents who were actually considering trading in their car so they could afford to buy my grandpa's LSE so i could buy it from them when i got older, but with gas the way it is it's just not possible for them.
I got the vin and hopefully someday i will have the money
still, i love the LS, always have and always will
thanks for the responses

btw, o2v8sport, ive always hated silver cars in general
but after seeing what youve done with your ls, i can honestly say that u have the most beautiful LS on the site... my jaw dropped the first time i saw it.
so great job on your modifications
also... wait for the new cts-v in late sept. of 08 because i heard that its going to be a lot better than the existing one.
