Get a JLT RAI, the stock gen 2 intake tube is not restrictive but the stock 96-98 cobra intake tube is quite restrictive.

I'm thinking about the JLT for my Cobra intake swap. Your right the Gen2 mark intake tube is better than the 96-98 Cobra one that has a dent in it to clear the factory strut tower brace.
