Irony, Thy name is Treehugger

Where did you flunk government? Congress, under the power granted to it under Article One Section Eight Clause Sixteen of the U. S. Constitution, has provided for the organizing, arming and training of the state militias.
You just contradicted yourself. Either the Fed does it, or the states have the right to do it. You can't have it both ways.

The individual right to keep and bear arms interpretation of the Second Amendment advanced by the NRA and other Anti-American groups is just a way those who attach their affections to tyranny disguise their real goal, which is to take away the right of the several states to provide for an organized, armed and trained state militia.

I shouldn't have to.

Here's a novel idea - read my post more than the one time you skimmed it.

Getting back on track......In nature predators seek out and kill the weakest members of the prey herd. In turn making the herd stronger. When food is plentiful, predator and prey both increase reproduction. They also adjust when resources are limited. Humans hunt the best of the herd, leaving behind only the weak and lucky. We then indiscriminantly poison and shoot wolves and other predators. After we screw nature up completely, we try to fix things. There are too many wolves, lets kill some more. There are too many deer, sell more liscences. If we would stay out of mother natures business everything would still be fine. So here we are today. Not enough predators, and so many deer we can't shoot enough. They cause car accidents daily. They're so over populated, diseases spread like wild fires and then we need to shoot more. Yeah, we're great at managing wildlife. Lets not forget what fun it is to kill a bear. I've been lucky enough to see many bear in the wild. Probably not for much longer. At least my kids will be able to see them in old nature movies. Anyway, I'm sure this will go right back to politics, have fun.:D

Personally, I like living in a house, buying my food at a store, and driving a car. I'll be calling you a hypocrit unless you happen to be living in a hut, live off what you grow in your small garden, and you someone how posted your comment by using a mirror and the sun to send the message via morse code.

Yeah, we're great at managing wildlife.
We do our best, it usually works out alright until bleeding hearts interject their "feelings."
