Bustin their chops is not the answer...................
We all went through this at one time or another. Our parents generation thought that we were nuts because we wanted muscle cars all jacked up in the back and low in the front. And your parents parents thought that they were crazy because they took perfectly good cars and chopped, dropped and channeled their cars. If he thinks that the V-8 cars are not cool anymore, you at least have to respect his opinion and encourage him to do his own thing. Without innovators, cars would get boring as hell. I like my Mark, but it does not have the same thrill as it did when I first got it. Driving down the highway and getting blown away by an STI that is getting 35 miles to the gallon while my Mark gets 20 - 21 just does not have the same thrill. Sure my car has much more class than the STI, but what he saves in gas can buy a lotta class.
My point is, that if we all listened to our parents or our parents generation, we would all be driving Pacers or Gremlins. I for one applaud Nitrobasher for being an innovator and wanting to do his own thing. Don't worry about what the people on this board have to say, get what you want, make it the way that you want it, and find a board that caters to what you like. And tell all of the posers who don't like what you drive, or who you are to go eff themselves.
