Or buy some length of battery cable and relocate it to the trunk, more rear weight and less front weight, and a cleaner engine bay
I like this idea.

i've done this. there is a little bit of difference in launching/handling. but then there is a funny hole up front by the engine. i didn't like how it looked.
Interested to see how you shock set up performs at the track. Any chance you will be going to the track again before anymore changes ??
ok so the sc is a v6 so that means i can go with H&R v6 mn-12 springs?
ummm it looks like a 4x4...ill stick with my strutmasters for now and in the future do the eibachs. has anyone used the h&r mn-12 v6 springs? they have a few sets on ebay for sale.
Care to explain a little more in depth about the data you analyzed that led you to the SC springs vs. the Vogtlands? I've got a full set of Blues sitting in my trunk right now, but I still haven't decided on springs and I've got a couple weeks until I have the money to do it.
will those underdrive pullies work for our car?
You may get decent launches with the stock SC springs, and the 4x4 ride height that you have now may even help a bit
If that is the case, the ride height will stay as is for now. I am almost tempted to get some slicks and take it to the track "as is" prior to the dyno tune and potential underdrives just to see how it is. <thinking> :shifty:
If that's the case, I would go with a taller slick, better traction and it will at least fill some of that wheel well gap..
Here is the ride height with the Thunderbird SC springs:

So all you need for this swap is some Thunderbird springs and shocks and it's a direct fit/swap for the front?
Yup, pretty much.
What about the rear, where do you get the shock mounts?
is it needed to have a seat for the bottom of the rear spring? not the iso, but what holds the spring from sliding around in the lower control arm? i mean it already has like a bowl design.
