Jaguar S-type R wheels on my Lincoln LS Pictures

Looks good, at first I wasnt sure if I was going to like it, Give us a pic from the center in the back. Would like to see the rear view.:D I see the one above, but the shadow kind of messes it up.
 
Looks really good. If somebody wants more of a stock look this is def the way to go. I personally liked it better with your 20’s though. Im only 21 so that might have something to do with my opinion :D
 
Yea, I liked the 20s too, but as I had sold em already I needed to get some different style, going for another chrome 20s would be kind of boring.

Sorry man, but I don't have a good rear picture, they all are kind of dark or with shadow so you can't really see much. I'll try to get another, better picture soon.

Great look, man! Very unique. Lowering the car will complete the look. Nice find. Now we all have to get some! Now all you need is the matching motor:p

yeah my sister has an 05 GLI, prev body style, it is awesome, I cna only image the new 2.0T with that lovely trans...

I like the fat rear tire look...You def need to lower it now, that will complete it!
 
looks good.. u must have a great imagination to know how those rims would turn out.. and that they would turn out so good.. either that or really lucky!! lol.. anyways.. it really needs to be lowered.. obviously the rear more than the front.. aside from that.. look good.. maybe get the stock grill and color match it the green of the car with the chrome trim left around it.. i think that would match nicely..

Would a 255/40/18 fit the front also without lowering?
How much room is still available? In your opinion, now that you have the rims and tires on, how big could you go without rubbing? Taller then what you have but not wider, wider but not taller, wider and taller?
I love the look but I would like a little wider on the front and a little more sidewall front and rear (old school, I know) and am not going to lower (at least for a long time).

the front wheels are 18x8s and the 245/40/18s fit it just right, the 255 would be kind of off. If the car is not lowered you can put 245/45/18s on the fronts without problems.

The rear ones 275/40/18 maximum if the car is not lowered, but probably with some rubbing going on. I think the rear ones would be better with 285/35/18 tires, but not many tire makers make those sizes.

So I would say 245/40/18 for the fronts and 285/35/18 for the rear is perfect for these wheels.

But again with lowered car the rear 285/35/18s might rub.

The ride is great. Yesterday I had a long drive (about 250miles back and forth) to the Big Bear lake resort (at night went and came back just for fun). The road over there is amazing, about 40 miles uphill (elevation of 7000 feet) mountain road with million of turns.

Well, with 20s the car felt extremely solid in the turns and heavy at the same time, also it was a bit rough, not back breaking hard, but a little. I think not only because of the size of the 20s themself, but also mine where super heavy. Probably with lighter 20s ride would have been great.

17s are good, the car feels light, but I think it suffers a little from higher sidewall in the turns.

These 18s ride amazing. They are barely harder than the 17s, but much more precise in the turns (also might be because of tires). These wide rear wheels just don't want to let the rear end go in the turns. I pushed in couple of places yesterday, well at low speed you will get a wheel spin the tail will slide, but at higher over 30 the car is just glued to the road. Also that the wheels are brand new and the tires are new, the car is completery vibration free at any speed. I pushed to about 115 mph the other day for a moment and it's just quite, comfy acceleration as it supposed to be.

Anyway, I am extremely happy with these wheels, the they look, handle and the rest. I just hope that after lowering, the car won't loose its suspension's great character at all.

I dont see any point in doing the same size tire on all 4 corners with this setup. You mainly want all tires the same size so you can rotate tires, but there is NO WAY you will be able to fit the 9.5" wide wheel in the front, and then have the 8" in the back. That would look goofy.
