I have been seeing '04 XJ-R's for like 30K here, some with decent mileage, non were over 60K mile wise. Guess its cause people are buying glorified pieces of junk, a.k.a Toyota's, I mean lexus(don't get me wrong, I had a couple GS400's but...)

If you didn't know the Jag S-type has a much sloppier auto-tranny than the Lincoln LS. The shifting is like moving cement....as far as reviews I have read...and anyone that bother to test what I say...well here's the link:

Lexus junk? Are you kidding me? No offense but you drive a over glorified Cava-lier!!
Lexus has the least depreciation value! 95 LS 400's with well over 100,000 are worth twice as much as most first gen LSes!
That really has to tell you something. Theres people I know with ES300's and almost 300K and the car still drives like new!

I love the new GS, also one of our friends has a new LS460L, man what a beautiful ride, very nice interior, quick too.

i had a 98 gs 300 and he's got a point in the four years i had the car before it got totaled the only problem i had with it was the hood latch cable. loved it.
i might haave been wrong i thought my buddy told me he was getting 50k...maybe it was 20k. lol idk
Well to me Lexus is overrated, I liked both mine but do not care for them like i used too so sue me. I like my balt, call it what you want, I enjoy it everyday I wake and see it, work on it and whenever I drive it. Its just my type of car, any "luxury" car I have had I got extremely bored with after a few months. Actually with all the stuff the cavalier, I mean Cobalt(though I do have yet another cavalier I am building) is more luxurious than the lexus if you want to put features at peoples top of list.
Heck, if I get an XJ I'd probably end up bored with that after abit but that is risk I am willing to take when the time comes

Your nuts now. Take your year Cobalt and compare it to most of the Lexus line for that year and tell me if more than 2 Lexus' fall under the category of less luxurious and less components/features!

You extra nuts if you would take your Cobalt over a XJ and say it would "bore you". I think you just need a very simple easy car with everything a fan boy tuner needs at his disposal.
