Jamies official 98 lsc progress thread

Ft. Myers sounds good. Take the whole seat. It is just taking up room here. I can also give you your seat track back. How about that AETC module and possibly the pass seat track for the '93. Deal??
 
i can do that, but i havent heard from gman on the eatc yet, and i think the reason why i gave you that seat track was because i thought it was the pass side, and since we both know it isnt lol, i am almost sure all the pass seat tracks on the loft are all 97-98 i'll have to double check though. damn it!! see what happens when selling mark parts takes a dump i have nothing left anymore.

Jamie, That is coming out nicely. Good luck with it. I had your phone number once and would like to get it again to talk to you about some parts, would you send it to me. I'm the guy who almost bought your black 98 up in ny but spent my time reading to the last thread then when I was going to call the guy you beat me to it. I looked @ the time and I was 4 minutes too late. Oh Well I now have a real nice red 98lsc and need a little part help. Thanks, Mike
 
jamie, what do you use to clean your carpets? I found that using purple power degreaser straight does wonders. I use it on just about everything and never had a problem. The car is coming out NICE bro!
 
Good progress, I'd say, looks like alot of cars that sell for cheap, PO is too lazy or disinterested in detailing it and loses out on the value of a clean car. been noticing a lot more goes on here at LVC, LoL seems like it is dead. If you ever need a second set of hands, I know my way around a wrench, and I'm close enough, I'd be happy to help out.

This feels alot like the process I'm going through on my 95 right now except I'm going it alone. It would be alot easier and more fun with good friends but this is not my first rodeo, lol. I got mine for 1600 with 7-8k in upkeep records and it was 2 owner, it's my 2nd MK VIII, and at least my 10th Lincoln overall. Maybe I need a progress thread. Maybe when this Lincoln cleans up I won't be embarassed to show up in it like I was in my 93 when I met up with Martin ('93 blue on blue) before he moved.
 
big mike i'm always up for a visit. come up to my shop some weekend and screw around with your car, there is always people there and marks hanging out. diesel dan came up a few nights ago just to hang out and b.s and he ended working on his mark for 5 hours lol!! omen, i use wesley's bleach white on gray rug, it works awesome and as long as you dont let it sit for hours it wont bleach the carpet. 98linc my problem right now is i just dont have any money, i just paid my monthly 2,200 dollars in house and shop rent, my insurance is due, the cost of the car and plane tickets killed me, i still have to pay staff back 600 bucks, this is a horrible month for me i am totally tapped out.

Find a way to legally obtain that 97 in DC for me, and Ill get you that $600 you need :)

i just spent the last 11 1/2 hours buffing this thing wow what a difference all i got left is the roof i cant move its 2 am and i'm hitting the sack. i'll take some pics tomorrow the car looks awesome!
 
yeah well i already took them off, i put the octastars on it just for shyts and grins. here are some pics from today all buffed, washed, and octies on it. man this car looks good!
i am glad i got what i did done when i did because i am sick now, my wife is sick with a head cold, so is my son, due to my daughter bringing strep throat home from school, now no matter what i do my throat is dry like desert sand and my nose is a mucas faucet that wont shut off, i am about to shower and swig the nyquil and head off to sick sleep land.i am just drinking glass after glass of orange juice. anyway check out the transformation, i wish i had taken better before pics.

Damn I wish my Mark looked that good my paints peeling in the the roof and trunk and the edges of all the panels
 
Im laying in bed falling asleep from medicine. I'm on my daughters iPod touch! I can't just keep the wheels rich they are half my father in laws to. I'll rock the ten spokes till taxes this year then I am gonna get some 18's off brad and do a nice exhaust for her to. It is my car I still want to do it up a little, I mean why not have two killer marks right!
 
You dont realize what 18s and tint do to a car until you see them next to each other.
