jus out of the blue....dreamin

U could also buy a crate motor for bout 15,000 / 600-800hp tranny for bout 2000 new ecu system for bout 3000 and all installed and tuned for another 3000 that under 30,000. Or just find a fully built motor used for cheap. But I rather have toy by troy

Yet you want a Gen 1 part on your Gen 2 lol. I'm with Dan. If I was going to just blow it on a Mark, it would be a Gen 1 and Foose would get it. I'm sure he would use up 50 grand and it would be done right.

???? what part are you talking about???all i need for mine is a gen 2 fender liner...

have jamie paint my car, and redo my headlights.and bank the rest to have a car fund to get anything wrong fixed by jamie

I want the ce jermie did with the 03 motor. That also another thing I would buy with the 50g's or talk geno into selling the termii.

My grandmother recently passed away and I'm receiving an inheritance nearly in that range... Most of it's going to be a down payment for a house. I think I'll be doing the following to my Mark:

Hub swap/FR500s.
J-Modded 98+ trans, 3800-4000 stall.
Quarterhorse and a Burn 2 from Moates
And new paint. I'm setting my compressor up now, just need a place to do it.

The house I hope to get has a decent size workshop in the back that can be used to work on a car, I'm gonna do some measuring and see if I can stick a lift in it. And I have a few more air tools I wanna buy.

i hope you mean the old chick martin, courtney hansen, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyy!!

she's the host of the spike power block on the weekends now.

Eh... I'm not really sure. All I know is, she had long dark hair. Haven't seen that show in a LONG time. It's not whoever is in that pic.

This thread had potential but should have been worded so the money can only be spent on YOUR Mark.
The more I think about it there is no way I would do what I said. I would finnish up the paint and so a $5000 forged bottom end but the rest of the money would go for a 2011 Mustang GT.

If it was ONLY to be spent on mine..... I dont know how I would do it. I guess if I added 10K in more stereo stuff I couold but with trans, paint, leather, suade, suspension and remaining mod I can only hit like $40,000.

Lincoln forums, Mark VIII specific......I was confused also...

Be verrrrrry careful buyin a house right now. Might be good to bank the money and rent a bit longer..:)

i would drop in a Marauder motor with a ported Eaton, headers with Pypes o/r x-pipe and MAC mufflers, restore body and paint, get custom hood and front bumper, add trac lok w/4.30s, add a Circle D converter, restore interior, and add new suspension parts including air suspension parts.

If you want to get more specific than that, please go ahead and do so.

Although my decision is based more on the house that I'm hoping to buy, it's actually my parent's neighbors house (so I can mooch cable and internet from them :D - and they're getting pretty old so it would be nice to be close to help them when needed), the owners are moving early next year because he enlisted in the Navy, it has backyard access, a nice workshop back there... basically the perfect house for me for the foreseeable future, that I happen to already know everything about (pros as well as cons.) So yeah, future economic and housing market fluctuations are not as big of a factor in my decision making process here.
