On earth.
Well I got a couple things to post about here. Nothing to serious though.

First, I completely detailed me exterior today to the best of my capabilities. I think it turned out awesome and got tons of compliments all day. I just wanted to know everyone's preference for getting bugs off the flat bumper. I mean, its starting to come into summer and I did a 200 mile trip today and holy hell did they really pile up. What are the elders great trade secrets:shifty:for removing the bugs with as minimal impact on the wax? I've read crazy car fanatic folklore that says things like WD-40, and damp dryer sheet., or is it a simple $9 spray on product or something.

Secondly, real world MPG. I know this has been discussed in depth but I see so many wildly varying numbers floating around. My route to work is all 2 lane back county roads and its very mountainous, in those conditions I can usually eek out 19 mpg average on a full tank all week long. However, my highway mileage is decent for what I am driving I feel. Today I drove http://goo.gl/maps/Qo2n
and got a solid 24 . If you click on the end balloon destination you can see how the elevation fluctuated. Considering that, and the weight of a passenger and some bags, I say that is pretty commendable given a large 4 door car with a v8.

Very nice LS! WD-40 does work great before a long trip, just put a little on the bumper before the trip (they wont stick as bad)

Beautiful car Chris!

I like to keep all my cars detailed. To keep clean those pesky bug guts, I have a two part process and I don't have any gimmicks. First, I make sure my cars have a good coat of quality Carnauba wax. I make sure I get the headlight lens waxed also. After my drive, the bug guts are easily sprayed off using my pressure washer. Simple.

Everyone should have a pressure washer in their garage.

As for the best mileage, I recorded my best at 29 mpg on a drive from Chattanooga TN to Wheeling WV and back. Not in an LS but a Lincoln nonetheless.

For bugs:

As was mentioned earlier, make sure you have a good coat of paint protection on there, whether it be carnauba wax or paint sealant. I personally would not use a carnauba based product on the clear lenses. I would stick to a sealant. Higher clarity, no chance of yellowing the lens, and better durability.

After the nice coat of paint protection, it's as simple as a detail spray and microfiber towel to remove bug guts. I personally use optimum no rinse at QD dilution. Just don't let them sit on there for long. The decaying organic matter wreaks havoc on clear coat.

Is that Cashmere Tri-Coat. It sure does look like it thats the same color I have. Beautiful in the sun and especially when you get the perfect angle. I would recommend that you plasti-dip the top and bottom grill gives it a clean look.

Here is some pics of my car:

Indeed it is Cashmere Tri-Coat. Haven't ever really been a fan of white cars until I got this gem. However, I have been on the fence about plastic dipping the grille and judging by how awesome yours looks, I think you have answered my question.
