Just g0t a new paint j0b....

If it came on with a tuner approach like no chrome and nicer smaller wheels it wouldn't be so bad still not my taste but I don't know why that paint looks like its such a sloppy job and has all that texture.
 
It looks like the paint has orange peel all over it. The paint is alright for a two tone but I'm not digging all the chrome or the wheels. If you went with some nicer Jaguar 20's or something it might look a lot better, and rethink the front grille and B pillars.

Paint job is okay but it's poor quality

Rims and Grille needs work.

no thats not your camera, the reflections on the window and the wheels look nice............no reflection on paint
 
Im crossed also. But in some areas of the pics it does look like noise.
 
man if your bottom half shined as much as I think your top half does then it would be cool. The dull bottom half is whats messing it up. Looks like the top half shines good but not the bottom.

That paint job is absolutely terrible. The orange peel is out of control. No painter that takes his job seriously would give work like that back to his customer. Go ahead and say I'm "hating," as you might say it, but reality is, that's a garbage paint job.
 
sorry but the wheels are hideous, i kind of like the paint. just because they are 22's doesnt mean they are hot. If you wouldnt buy them in 16" then you shouldnt buy them in 22". I always wondered why 20"+ wheels had the ugliest designs.
 
oh yeah one other thing, you took off the chrome from the back bumper but why not the front. And why not paint the rear surround, get that nonsport look off a kind of mean looking car.

i would've made the two tone a little lower, but the clear looks dry, rims are shiny, windows are shiny and paint looks dry, take some better pics to prove the paint is as good as you say...

P.S. Rims look like ass!!! sorry

i'm offended...i used a can of Krylon to spray the back of my fish tank and it looks great with no orange-peel what-so-ver but it does not have a reflection, which was my intention ;) :D
 
I see only a couple things here:
#1, you have a low resolution camera, or it's just poor optics on the camera
#2, you had some type of semi-flat/semi-gloss thing done with your paint that I'm not familiar with
#3, you have the most orange peel I've ever seen in my entire life and a 5yr old painted it outside in the dead of winter during a snow storm.

Until I see a picture that proves otherwise, I'm going with #3. I think the potential was there... I like two tone paint jobs; I really do. And that color combination, while very contrasting, isn't loud and obnoxious. A very thin pinstripe with color (I think blue might look nice) would really set the color combination off. Location for the split seems pretty good; most people doing a "classic" two tone will use a natural body line... it seems that's what was done here. But again, it looks like the quality of the paint job itself is very very poor; good plan, poor execution. If you took it to a shop, I wouldn't blame you for it. If your buddy did it in his unheated garage... you should have thought that one through.

The rest of the car... even though you didn't ask, I'll put my thoughts out there anyway... it's hideous. The wheels are too big (I know that's the ghetto-rific trend), and the chrome really doesn't accent the paint very well; there is too much going on.


But, as others have said; what matters is that you like it... not that most of us do not. But when you come on a web site and ask for input, then don't like what you hear... be a man and deal with it. Don't accuse everyone of being "haters" because their taste differs from yours and they gave you a truthful response. If you can't handle getting an answer you don't like... don't ask the question. In the end, what makes America great is a huge amount of diversity.
