:) 98k miles clean in and out, dark blue.

The guy down my street had it stored in his garage for 2 years, I picked it up for $ 2,500 and it came with original rims and tires plus 4 geovanna crome rims and tires.LOOKS SWEET!! RUNS GREAT and no oil leaks.

He had just given it a tune up so all i had to do is change all the fluids(pumped the trany out).Everything works fine.

After a couple days of short driving i started hearing a LOUD intermitent grinding sound OMG.Took it to the family mech and i got lucky he is a N* mech and owner. Found bad bearings in altenator and AC pully replaced and instaled new drive belt.

So i finaly took it out on the highway and was cruising at 65 and opened it up WOW!!, within a couple of sec i was at 135 mph with plenty of engin left,a GM tech said the computer will cut off at 151mph il take his word for it.

This car blows my old Z28 away and looks better!!!
PEOPLE STARE AT IT WHEN IM DRIVING (SWEET).

After about a week of driving this is not my everyday car .It has a slite cutting out at highway speeds but always has the balls when you want it.
It got a 64 code , told my mech and he said he will do a comp analize (no Charge) he can tell by the values and is expecting a minor repaire.

LOVE THE ELDO,

Update on 93 eldo N* engine cutting out

The computer shop diagnostic showed the second oxygen sensor (last one down the exhaust) was giving false readings. The only problem was the sensor is froze
in the exhaust and theirs no room to work on it and tap out the threads.
Not worth droping the exhaust and potential ruining exhaust pipe.

The N* will run fine if the second O2 sensor is diconected the ecm uses an assigned value. The cutting out is corrected and engine runs perfect!!!

15 mpg city

LOVE MY ELDO,

Hello jimlucky, the Eldo is a great car and from what your mechanic told you about the speed limiter it seem that you have a Z-rate Eldo. Great car.

You've got to be getting into the fun pedal a bit. I'm getting over 19mpg city driving. 94 eldo. Good luck with your new ride.
