i PMed mike and he took it down.
it was after that when the threat to take down the site was issued. and later, the site went down.

it got a little nuts if you ask me.
we got spammed, they got a ddos.
somebody got butthurt on both sides, and it went nuts.
 
Kinda funny cause as all this was happening I was doing some google background checking of sights and such. Just to see who was pulling what kind of ranking and worth?

So for S's and Giggles I pulled one big sight for it's daily worth and got Daily Earnings: $175,632 :eek:
 
facebook is worth over 2 billion! with a daily earning of over 2 million dollars. word..

i did not say it was mikey.
i don't know who it was.
they got IP banned so they won't be coming back from the same IP.
i did say i PMed Mike, our staff member, and IP banned the offender.
 
wow.. i have never seen anything like that before.that takes "interweb pissing contest" to a whole new level.

NO, I know u didn't say it was all Mike... I'm saying it's not cool to shut someone's site down! That's taking it one step too far!

In real life things would've played differently. Forums allow us to express ourselves in ways we normally wouldn't in our normal lives, that being said keep it down a notch if you want to stay in the game. I feel responsible because I have a few close friends on FSS that told me its a good site but to be prepared because the first month is nothing but brutal bashing on newbs.

I followed the site for about 6 months on & off. Not too many newbs can hack it. They all pull back & some get stupid nasty & "think" they offend the old members by telling them to fvck off. These guys enjoy telling you that your car is a turd & feed on you getting insulted. It doesn't matter if you drive the same car they drive. It's just the way they are. This is why they will never be honest with what they drive. They bash you to see if you can put up with dark humor.

I joined the forum for the same reason's I joined LVC. Gain more knowledge, share my knowledge(not going to happen for a while). Now that being said, I let you guys know about the site so you can join in on the fun because I've never seen a site that treats you like turd such as FSS however, I've never seen a forum where you can say what you feel without being censored at all! Hell the moderator is the instigator, that's pretty damn cool! He's a bigger douche that Jamie, lol... Sorry Jamie, you are no longer King douche in my book dude. Anyway, That's why I don't think shutting the site down was cool at all! Whomever was responsible was a total prick!

I think DDOS is like an attack where you send alot of bots or something and overloading the site.
Something like that. Causing it to crash. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My s/n was changed yesterday. I've known about it.

As ofr DDOS? Look it up on google. I found the definition there.

I've stopped the games. I was told by my friends that it's not worth it because they are just a gossip site!!! in the end my friend told me that our common interests are completely diferrent. Nothing car related! Just ppl talking crap! SOrry I wasted everyone's time overthere.
 
mike was right after all. you didn't last. eh well. it's pretty low volume. not exactly a lot going on anyway.
