I have an 02' LSE and my keyless remote has never worked, so I was going to order a new one and get it reprogramed so I called to ask how much and its 90$ there has to be a better way. can someone help!

go to alocksmith that has the software and machines to program it...i got a guy to do it for 65 a key...and like 45 or 35 for each remote...and he did the keypad for about the same price...all in all 130 and 130 is what the dealer was charging me...

Won't work on the 1st gen. Unless you have the Ford tool. Just get a remote or two off of ebay (they're pretty inexpensive) and either have a locksmith (if they can) or the dealer do it. The dealer shouldn't charge more than an hour labor.

This is good news to hear, cuz when I got my car I only got 1 key!!. Kinda wanna get a spare with a keyless entry, thank you for the info guys!
