When I start my car... it starts and right away there's a knocking noise. I had an oil change yesterday and the guy told me that there was water in my oil... so I don't know if that could cause that. But when I'm driving and I go to accelerate fast it starts to knock also... what could this be? I just want to get this fixed before winter hits. Thanks

Have you changed your VCG if you got a Gen1? Thats probably what it is, water getting into a cylinder probably cylinder 4 or 8 from water dropping off from the windshield, it dumps right on the back pretty much.

The water in the oil is a bad sign and could only come from the cylinderhead gaskets or a cracked engine block.
Both sound bad and look like mega dollars to diagnose and fix.
Sorry but I wished I could give you better advise.

I don't know the actual sound the car is making, so this is a guess. I would look at the most inexpensive and simple tests first.
Some times, if you have a vaccume leak that is bad enough, you may hear a knocking. Check all your lines components, and hoses on the intake system.
Was the knock occurning before the oil change?
Check for bad head gaskets.
Check the oil level and look for coolant or a gray mixture of antifreeze and oil on the dipstick. If it's a bad head gasket or crack in the block, It won't take long for the fluids to mix.
Look in the exhaust for oil. You could pull out an O2 senser on each side. If the head gaskets are bad, oil and coolant could be passing into the exhaust.

I say injector.

Check your coolant and see if its sludged up.

alright i'll check that out... im going to take it somewhere tomorrow and hopefully they'll know something

Water in oil

There is a new testing product my mechanic showed me. It looks like a turkey baster with a bobbin inside. It cost $50. You place it in your coolant bottle and draw some liquid, if the bobbin changes color, you have a leaking head gasket of cracked/warped block. The product detects chemical changes in the coolant.
Pretty cool.
