Last pics of the LS before she goes in for trade :(

The S60 has a amazing feel to it. With the 6 speed, the clutch is SO smooth. You can practically drop the clutch in first gear and the car will still be smooth w/o stalling. TONS of power through out the RPM band. Something like 260lbs of torque at 1850 RPMS

It has the standard delay while the turbo spools, but after it gets spooled up, it flat out puts you in the seat. It's awesome I think.

just curious why you would rule out the 556hp 551 lbft CTS-V on account of it not being turbo, but let a less than 350hp mazda speed 6 stay on the list?? Your talking about a car that was intended to do the same thing as the LS. It took longer for the Catera to evolve, but that CTS-V will spank Z06's, M5's etc etc etc!

AWD.... CTS4, still has PLENTY of power and runs on regular unleaded.

G8.... wait till spring, GTP is coming out with 400+hp.

non american.... Acura TL type S (back to premium fuel though)

other ideas.... used 5series xi (or new, but I dont have that kind of money), i dont like audis, but they have a massive following and there has to some reason for it, infinity g37x, nissan maxima (not sur eif they have an AWD option)

of the three you listed I'd go Volvo. I personally dont like that blue, but the red and black ones look good. You can see the LS like design in the pics of the two next to each other.

Im not sure why you ruled out the M5 and just bought a LS?

Sorry, if money grew on trees I wouldnt be resorting to Volvos or Mazdas.

yep. I wouldn't mind driving a new CL65 either. I rode in one of our friends 08 CL600 yesterday, my car is freakin nice, but this thing is DAAAAYYYUUUUMMMMM!

Go with Volvo. I think it's much better than the Subaru.

ok! That makes more sense than it not having a turbo.

oh yeah! I did buy my LS over an M3

Yeah, I dont pretend to get something I cant afford. I only buy slightly used and my cap this year for a car is $25,000. I hate being buried by a car payment. I wish I could afford the nicer cars, but just cant.

yeah, atleast your smart enough to know that.... some people get aproved for loans with payments they can cover and end up way over their head in debt! good on ya man!

what about a used 300M or C. they have an avail AWD.

Ive actually made up my mind and Im going all out to a STI. I REALLY want a turbo this time around. I miss my old Turbo 240sx, lots of power with not too much investment.

You mean the G8 GXP. Yeah, add on another $10k in price too. ;) The G8 GXP's will be nice cars but $40+ isn't cheap; let alone if the dealers do their stupid "market adjustment" like some did for the G8 GT.

I think the Scooby is the best decision for Ray. It has all the features he wants in one package. AWD, Turbo, respectable power, very moddable, not uber expensive and on and on.

Good Luck with your new purchase and post pictures as soon as you get them. Why would you want 400 boosted horsepower over 400 all motor horsepower. The all motor car will spank the boosted ones ass.

NHLSV8-A stock CTS-V will not beat a Z06.

Another great choice. I think in 06+ they had the bat-wing delete as an option. Ive seen a few running around just FYI.

Please show me a AWD 300HP+ car for under $25K with 30K miles or less. That is also capable of getting 400+ HP with a few mods. Maybe Im missing some cars out there.

It might not be AWD, but you can get a 2008 G8 for about $25K with less than 10K miles. It already has close to 400 horsepower and it is all motor power. Usually, you have to have about 100 more boosted horsepower to equal the speed and strength of an all motor setup. Plus, push-rod motors are so cheap and easy to work on. Good Luck with whatever you go with. I like all your choices, just I personally like all motor setups because boost can send too many things sour really fast when you start to upgrade a factory setup without dipping into the internals.

I officially sold the LS on my own this weekend!! I will be car shopping early this week.

Your gunna love that STI! Nothing beats the way a turbo pushes you back as it pulls down the street. Even that sound alone that is so distinct to them is incredible! I hear them all the time go past my place. You can always tell its a STI. This is one great car that I honestly dont mind is so popular.
