I was reading a local small town news paper and they were talking about Christmas decorations on cars, and they brought up white lights and neon light lights are illegal. Is there a reason the genII's are able to use this, some kind of loophole?

Because its a brake light, not a body kit light... and you can't see the bulb.

lights

On the news there was some guy that mounted like 100 different color christmas bulbs all over his car. Stupid but seasonal. Having blue lights is a no no most places. Cops changed to blue because most impaired drivers (drunks) will aim towards red lights. Dui school was'nt a waste I learned something:D

Did you learn how to drive while sober? That's an issue with most people.. they can't drive even when NOT drunk

Not to be sexist, but I never let a woman drive me anywhere, I'd rather walk... least I know I'd make it alive
every single wreck I've been in, there was a woman driver involved

From talking on the phone, applying makeup, eating, picking their buggers, and trying to hold the dog in the window... and sometimes all at once... no thanks

never

I never drink and drive. It's over 40 years since my dui and once is enough. Between cell phones and old people it's dangerous to drive around here. It's real bad on weekends. I drink only at home or at the casino.:D:D:D

Neither do I, but my wife insisted that a couple of beers was enough for me that night and that she had to drive me home.

Neon lights on your license place, underneath the car, etc... are concidered illegal. However a "neon conducted" light is perfectly fine. DOT will inspect all vehicles designed by manufacturers. If it wasn't fine with the DOT back in 97, then these car's would have ended up with the 1st Gen rear end a couple more years.
