Hi new here. I'm having a real hard time getting the left hand side Cover off. I got all the bolts off but gets stuck on a bracket that I can't get to the bolts to remove it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

On the 2nd gen, the only bracket that needs to be removed is the one that holds the evap purge valve. It is easily removed, which should be the case for the 1st gen too. It attaches via two of the shock tower bolts. Could you post a picture of the bracket you are having trouble with?

inch pounds but your unique if you are a midget wrench I wish those cop tube grommets were more effective putting it on is more prevalent than taking off ….anyone want to comment on technique I'm thinking a ring of grey Permatex then grommet or ???
