Lincoln LS 2000 V6 For Parts

I could see the rear sub-frame :q:q:q:qting the bed and replacing that is almost $2000 for the part, labor is pretty involved, as well. It happened to mine, one of the four mounting isolators for the sub-frame disintegrated and there are no replacement parts for that, except a whole sub-frame. I had a used one shipped from MN to NH with all control arms intact for $500 IIRC. If that is what is wrong with this car, look into a used 2003-up rear sub-frame and have it installed. The 2003-up sub-frame has upgraded metal sleeves in the isolation mounts.

That seems like a pretty nice car - are you saying that the car has 75K miles on it, or just the trans? If the car, there is no reason to normally expect to have replaced anything on the suspension even once at this point.
