Lincoln LS 3.0 to 3.9 Conversion?

That's dirt cheap... around here atleast. But yeah I just started paying full coverage on it, but it takes 90 days to kick in. So what I was thinking was, since its got this crack in it from hitting a pothole, I'm gonna say it just happened.

Nothing better than bragging on a public forum about insurance fraud.

Not too bad for a first car though, hmm?

Well, you will either be well-versed in high priced repairs or learn how to turn a wrench, one of the two. So I suppose it's not too bad, as far as learning lessons goes.

Easy answer..... It's much, much cheaper to sell your V6 and buy a V8.

beat me too it.

really is one of the easiest conversions too, just need two parts that can be picked up at the same place. goo to any local hardware store, buy a "for sale" sign and one the way out pick up a autotrader magazine.

Fellas, is it that hard to say go to your local hardware store and find a for sale sign and buy one with a 3.9L. If it were me I would have bought one with the V8. Unless yours took a poo and you need to swap motors but even then why not?

They both beat you to it. :p

youre throwing money away with a new-ish bumper in my opinion. if you can get one thats pre-painted salvage your 1million times better off. better off keeping the one you got and painting the chrome if you dont like the chrome IMO.
car-part.com best source for finding the color matched bumper
