Does anyone have Undercarriage pictures of a 2000-2002 Lincoln LS with a manual transmission? I'm specifically looking for pictures of the transmission and transmission mount.

Background.
I've converted two Lincoln LS to manual six speed and 5 speed cars. Ultimately, I've decided the five speed is nicer because of the fortified T5 packaging and weight savings. Using a 2005 - 2014 trans mount and custom bracket worked ok but I was looking for OEM trans crossover fitment. So now I'm using the V8 auto trans mount now and it works mostly ok. It is a little too soft when I have the car loaded with passengers and luggage I notice some minor shake at hard acceleration and low RPMs.

Before I throw in the towel with this OEM setup, I'd like to see pictures of the V6 manual setup.

I had a 2000 LS manual over twenty years ago and the drivetrain was smooth as silk. I'd like to know if the Getrag 221 has the same trans mount as the auto.

The pics attached are examples of my current set up.

Nice looking undercarriage ya got there lol
all jokes aside, let me know if you ever wanna sell some parts off one of them. I am in desperate need of just a couple parts

I believe it’s called the engine coolant flange. I had replaced one not realizing the part I ordered was for the Thunderbird, which is slightly different. I ended up causing some other coolant hoses to leak, THEN decided to do some research…anyways that’s a little background on the subject.

Hi dennis, I’ve got the transmission out of one of my LS as well as another I sold he has the car minus transmission installed. If your location is Madisonville, LA you’re more than welcomed to drive 35 mins and check it out and take pics if you like. He’s got the car and transmission right outside of bogalusa. Lmk if so

I’ve got flanges for gen 1. The multipoint hose connections that attach to the housing? I’ve got OEM jaguar one and I think I still have an OEM LS one. The only difference is the jag has a temp sensor in where the LS doesn’t. As long as you leave sensor in unplugged I didn’t have any issue with using the jag parts. If that’s what you’re referring to.

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I've since moved to Houston. I'll update my profile when I get to it. Do you mind, if it's not too much trouble that is, taking a picture of the transmission mount?

Yeah I am going to buy a new temp sensor to put on there and just leave it if it’s not going to hurt it. But in all honesty if you have an OEM LS flange I’d rather go with that.

As you can see the person who worked on my car must not have known there was supposed to be a sensor there

Yep if you give me a couple day at most I’ll get with the new owner and snap some pics for you. Maybe even tomorrow.
