longtube headers?

Lol... you have to put a joint form a place like Flaming river in the middle of the shaft.... Just because YOU can't figure it out doesn't mean other people can't....

you are going to need 2 joints to able able to do it. have you done it? no, you haven't, and untill you do you its just more BS "tech" coming from you. not one person has posted pics of 03 cobra manis installed with just a single flaming river rag joint installed, because it doesn't work.

I've done it on three cars now, and it works perfect. No BS tech here.

All you have to do is think outside the box ;)

Kooks sold all distributing rights to tccoa. Already talked to them. Still make them, but only for them. I'm trying to get some other manufacturers on a set of long tubes. Shorties and mid lengths are better than stock, but they're not long tubes. I'm putting all that time and effort and money, I want a set of full length headers. If anyone wants to modify a set and fit them, I can get them made. Stainless, or ceramic. Until then, its one more project on my list.

Id love to make them work to lead the budget minded driver onto a cheaper alternative to kooks.

well i will be a SOB, finally a pic. and it fits. the posts i have seen talked about just talk about replaceing the rag. but you actually have to re-located it up higher. I'm saving that pic right now!!!! thanks SO, SO, SO much for posting that!!! looks like i need to dig out my cobra manis, if i can find them.

yes, parts and prices would be appreciated! I remember seeing a thread abou those flaming river joints, but what specific one is it?

No I haven't done it... but I will post pics when I do it in a month or two....

It's been a month :)

Did you have any luck making this work?

I've got a 96 with the Flaming River steering joint mod, but I left the stock shaft in there instead of doing the splined section of shaft like m_maker did. Before I pull the trigger to buy something, should I be able to make a set of Cobra headers work or do I need to get those Kooks ones specific to the Mark VIII?
