Low Oil Life Index

hi im a new member, just bought an 93 Eldo Touring coupe few weeks ago,
i have changed all fluids however my Oil Life Index keeps dropping, from 23 to 6 already and service engine light goes on.. and says change Oil

But ive changed oil as soon as i bought the car... is there something i dont know?

Your Oil Life Monitor OLM needs to be reset I believe the procedure should be in your owners manual but if you don't have one I read that you need to hit the info button until you see 6% Oil Life Remaining and hold down the Info Reset button for about 10 seconds until it changes to XXX% and then finally 100%.
