LS hydraulic fan

Hello, I do not post here often, but I have run into a problem with my LS. The main hydraulic line on my LS V8 has blown a fitting. I am having no luck tracking a new one down. I was wondering if any one on here had a good aftermarket source they could recommend? I have called every ford dealer that reported to have one in stock and I have a few calls out to a few Jag dealers. The part number in question 2W4Z-8C635-BA . Any help would be appreciated.

Called Max with no luck. I think i have located a used line, However by the time i found it had already started on making a temporary fix until i can find a replacement.

Most towns have at least a few companies that make hydraulic hoses. If you take the old one to one of those, they may be able to custom make you a new hose with the correct fittings.

Not my town. But in any case I was able to work out a solution for my line and fitting problem. But i was to late the damage had been done to my pump. It is now seized up and i will have to replace it. Any one have an idea on how many hours to expect for that project?

Anything from a couple of hours to a very long day. In my case, one bolt was frozen and had to grind off the head.
Getting the alternator out can take a long time until you find the magic alignment. It'll come out only one way.

Did you order the complete cooling fan system (fan, motor, pump, reservoir, hoses)?? If so, you got it from me. It should be there today

I got mine from team ford parts it finally came in on tuesday. I will be installing it this weekend.

Well this weekend will start attempt 2 on getting my ls back on the road. Broke a fitting in my attempt last weekend. Tomorrow will be fun.
