LS makes a SS?

Its a bunch of hooey. Lincoln never produced an "SS" Lincoln LS.

Good for a chuckle, tho. :D
 
There is no such LS...WTF? It is pretty nice so why the hell lie about it? Some people are idiots.
 
what makes it a special production out of 200? it sounds like everything on there, he did. not some special facotry edition upgrades. this is like the supercharged LSC
 
What a clown. I hope anyone who bids on that does some homework first. Anyone know how many LSE's were made in 2002? That cant be the 130 of 200 number he's talking about. I also noticed it has a regular sport front bumper, so i'd think its been wrecked and replaced. Did a true LSE come with chrome trim around the windows? The picture of the headrest with TV totally doesnt match the interior....looks gay. My favorite part is the gold badge on the dash..... i'd love to know what that says. Also, unless you are towing a boat what good does a rear view camera have on an LS?

Holy cow!!!! Someone said something cause he just updated his auction with that badge picture. I cant beleive the crap he is posting. Please somebody go set him straight. Waiting to hear from Quik on this one. Meanwhile i am going to go get a gold badge engraved so i can have a limited edition too !!
 
I asked him if there was some documention on this so-called limited edition. He added the gold plaque to his photos in the ebay. He also provided me with this response:

Yes there is a badge on the dash board, I just added pics of the dash plaque to the listing as several people have asked to see it.

In 2002 since the LSE (Sport Package) was not neither made nor offered till 2003, in 2002 Lincoln took 200 stock cars and added the Razzi body kit and called it a limited edition and numbered each car.

Draw your own conclusions. He's dead wrong about the LSE package not being available in 2002 -- it definitely was, according to the 2002 Order Guide.

He's posted the VIN. Can someone run it and see exactly what kind of car this is?
 
looks like he printed that with a label maker. luckily we at lvc are always skeptical so we can go and tear him a new one to save an unsuspecting future ls owner from being taken advantage of.

watch...... in two weeks there will be a new member claiming he just bought a limited edition lincoln ls super sport
 
Someone should bid on it then back out afterwards due to B.S. information. I'm sure eBay would side with you.
 
thats not even worth possibly ruining your rating though and dealing with that. you can just report to ebay its bs in the first place.

its ashame, its a nice car but the guy is f'ing himself.

at least the guy with the LSC (Lincoln Super Charged) Mark VIII retracted his statement. this guy dug his hole so deep he might as well just pull the auction
 
It's a regular LS with the Razzi kit and headrests from either an '03+ or some other vehicle. Dealers have been known to do this kind of thing and then put that stupid plaque on the dash.

+1. :I I was thinking this might be a dealer "Special Edition". Our Chevy Dealer here had a BUNCH of nasty looking Camaro's in the late 80's that were "Special Editions" that they had a local custom shop do. They had plaques on the dash too.

The seller may actually believe that he has a LS SS that Lincoln built. :eek:
 
yeah but at least make it an SVT LS and not an LS SS. a ford brand instead of chevy
 
I sent him an email and that this was probably a dealer thing. Here was his response:

"Thanks for you thoughs, but I only speak of what the Lincoln dealership sold it to me as, if the car is not for you I undersand."

So this IS a dealer thing!

No its not. Dealer package cars don't have any extra body kits and crap. Its just a bunch of books and stupid little extras, plus a nice set of wheels.

There is only 200 but its not any SS and it don't look like that at all.

Those head rest are an aftermarket brand that you order with the LCD in it.

That front bumper still looks stock to me unless my eyes are bad. Aside from all that he could have sold it with out telling some BS story.

If they told him this than yeah its a dealer rip off thing! but its not one of those dealer limited cars.
 
I have seen this on Car domain as well, someone had a pitcure of this badge. It was a while ago and I thought to myself what??? I dont remember exactly but, something tells me when I saw it a while ago it was #130/200.

Cheap looking aftermarket wheels (he couldnt even get lincoln center caps for them?). I've seen that body kit before, ill have to look it up later when im not on lunch.

I hope nobody buys that thinking its an "SS".
