whats going on everyone.. been a while, but i have an 06 LS that has me stumped at the moment.. i have no ignition wire signal on cylinders 3,5,7,6, and 8.. believe it or not, the car actual still will start and run on the 3 remaining cylinders. i have replaced all the ignition coils and the spark plugs hoping that was the issue, but after seeing the misfires still present i checked all the ignition wires and found no signal coming the PCM apparently.. anyone run into this issue? im thinking its the PCM and it will need to be replaced.. i have a complete 05 parts car that runs and drives.. is a PCM swap doable between the 05 and 06? i heard i would have to change the PCM, gauge cluster, and ignition cylinder in order for it all to work without needing reprogramming.. has anyone ever attempted this swap with success? thanks in advance..

And, your keys.
It's much easier to get Forscan (free), a cheap adapter ($20) and to use it to remarry ("reprogram") the PATS.

Before that, have you tested the engine wiring harness (disconnect from PCM and coils and check continuity)?

If I remember correctly...I think you can swap out a 06 with a 05 ...I think its a Generation compatibility relation...if not someone will correct me if I'm wrong

so, if i use the remarry option, i can get away with just swapping out the PCM? i have the forscan app on my phone and i have a bluetooth OBDII port adapter..

Yes.
You will need at least two working keys.

I'm assuming this is to connect to a laptop via a direct USB connection? Have you had any experience doing this via a bluetooth connection on an android device?

Correct. No, I haven't.
