LS will Not Start....... Newbie Question.....

lol, I dont know if you realize it but this thread was started as a joke. It was made to crack on newbies who ask questions without thinking or searching. I'm sorry if you are really having issues with your LS but this thread isnt the place to ask a serious question.

Thats what the noob gets for reading the first post and automatically replying with a question of his own. A little further reading wouldve reveiled that this thread was a joke

This topic was brought to you in accordance of LVCs long standing tradition of "stupid" questions and "obvious" answers. Where would we be without "newbies"? Thou many get all butt hurt over our "hazing". Its all in good fun.

i have the same problem as RollinLS. I only posess 1 key. changed starter and battery. no lights flash for pats. Seats and lights come on. But it still won't start.

Okay, you posted in the wrong thread, but at least you searched.

How about some more detail?

Does the PATS light come on steady?
Does the check engine light come on?
Does the odometer display come on?

Have you checked the relays in the trunk?

I was wondering why the hell anyone would bring back this topic. Then I read a little and found out why.

+1 on everything joegr listed !!

if the check engine light doesn't come on as it should with all the other lights (when key turned) then the gauge cluster can't share ground with the PCU and the LS won't start.

PATS should be easy enough to diagnose, and of course check every fuse/relay in the car.

could you tell my why? i changed my valve cover gaskets and suddendly when i drove my car out of my garage something happened and my car stalled, then it wouldnt start and it just sounds like a click like if it ran out of battery :(
tell me pleaseee

A clicking noise is a weak battery.

Either its just an old battery or the alt is failing.
