Hey guys i was at the ocean this weeknd it was import car show and I was crossing the street when I porshe carrera comes flying and hits me doing like 25 so I pull over and get out but my car is fine he hit my front right rim, now when I get in my car the steering wheel it turned left a little bit and it pulls to the left so it never sits straight now the streering wheel is all turned when the wheels are straight. Do yall think its possible to have cracked my ball joint when getting hit?

Well it definitely bent something...a tie rod probably. But you could have suffered some major damage and not even know it until you get it apart. The rack could start leaking, lower control arm cracked, ball joint, etc. If it were me, I would have everything replaced. It's just not worth the chance of having a failure later down the road when you have no recourse against the Porche owner. Besides, you wouldn't want to be in the car when that happened...let alone a loved one.

Damn!!!! that would suck should i just get someone to look at everything on the front end? if the ball joint was messed up would it still drive good?

When I go to the mechanic tommarow what should I tell them to take a look at? the whole front end?

Just tell them the exact story and if the have any knowlage what so ever they should take it from there...and ask them to explain and SHOW you everything that they say needs replacing or they WILL try to take advantage. Me and mechanics do not get along to well

I didnt want to tell them i got in an acident because i didnt want them to say mad stuff needs to be replaced thats not messed up, or do you think i should tell them what happened and hope they dont try to rip me off?

They're going to know you got into an accident once they look at it. Like I said just tell them to give you proof on what needs replacing. Either that or get a second opinion and compare the results

Isn't insurance going to cover this? Let them replace everything they are concerned about. There is no way I could ever enjoy that car again not knowing everything was done to make it safe. What if there were a stress fracture somewhere that was not visable and didn't fail for a couple of months?
