Oooh, not yet. Right now I'm focused on chassis, after I get it fixed n painted then comes the engine.

We need to start a "Fast and Furious" Counseling and Treatment Center.
Does Torsen actually makes it for LS? I went to their website's application chart and there is nothing for the LS. Which one would fit my Gen 1 ?
I don't think specifically as in part # for the LS, but if it fits a 28 spline 8.8 diff it will fit the LS 8.0.
So, Torsen or Auburn etc. should work.
You could always get under there and look to see what diff you have.
+1 I know of one guy with an Auburn LSD installed.
I checked in my shop manual and didn't see it. I did just a quick check though.
Once I get my LSD swapped in, I'll be up to race any LS8 at the 1/8 of mile track. Not to proove anything but I wanna know how it goes with LSD and manual transmission againts auto V8 :shifty:
I call dibs on this race, soon as I get my a$$ in gear and make some money so I can actually move to my house in FL
just get the trac loc from a mustang and buy lowering springs and cut them. thats what i did and my car rides perfectly. unless youve done this to a set of springs dont badmouth it. car rides great and very sporty. my 19s have 245 in the front and 275s out back no rubbing at all. but.........if you drift your v6 you WILL spin bearings. when taking turns hard in the 6 the oil will slosh away from the pickup and you WILL starve it for oil and spin a bearing or shoot a rod through the side. trust me I KNOW and this bends the crank everytime so its hard to rebuild the motor, better off getting a used one, ive gone through 4 of them. and the nobles do the same thing even with their better internals. they have to baffle the oil pans after it happens to try to correct the problem. i spoke with a company in california that modifies nobles, i was buying the internals but the guy told me not to waste my money as those parts dont solve the issues with these motors they just lower the compression slightly. i say dont do it unless the oil pan is baffled first, and then keep the rev limit slightly lower than stock.
i know a v6 manual that will beat pretty much any car on here
mine are 8inch but i was going to switch to 19x8.5 up front and 19x9.5 in the back. theyll fit just fine. i stretched the fender a little.
yes he is on here. i hear his car is always down though :shifty:
Did you notice if the fuel sending unit was on that side as well?
