LSC w/o Mufflers vs 93 Base w/o Mufflers and Res??

Hey guys, sorry for the number of post i've been making lately, it's just that i SERIOUSLY value your experience and advice. I used to have a 93 base Mark, and had the resonator, and the mufflers straightpiped... It sounded good, beefy and not too loud.

Tomorrow i'm having the mufflers straightpiped on my 96 LSC, what kind of sound can i expect being that it is dual exhaust with a 2-in-2-out 3rd cat, the 1993 base had Y pipe.

Deeper...louder...raspier..???

I spoke to the guy at the shop, he's actually a customer of mine, he is going to do the job for $50 including nice chrome tips.

I'm so ANXIOUS..!!! lol.

PS he talked me into keeping the third cat, he noted HEAVILY how i will be harassed in my area. The police presence is huge here. He is right, hell i don't want to get a ticket every mile or so lol.

if you cut out the third cat def. put in an X pipe. It should be slightly louder than a base model with a y pipe.

LI LSC 98 is that just removed mufflers on an LSC..?? It sounds good, more aggressive then my 93. The 93 sounded very mellow, yet beefy-hard to describe.

That is also probably a crappy digi cam vid... I would take those sounds clips as a generalization of how it could sound.

It will sound way better than your 93 did. Jbird97 has cutout mufflers and it sounds wayy better than a y piped base.
