I recently bought a pair of Clear Corner replacement lenses for my 2000 Lincoln LS Sport PKG. I installed them, along with a pair of Halos, last weekend and I'm not sure if I like them. I'm willing to part with them for a DECENT offer. I'll have pictures up tomorrow. Get @ me

Some just aren't interested in that look.
Part of this forum is feedback for vendor parts. If there is something that he doesn't like about it I'd like to know. He did state in a PM to me that he received numerous comments from people that it looked good. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So I've been told.

I'm doubting that he has a physical defect, I think he just may not like the look. I don't like them,... on some cars.:)
Thats all.

Didn't think that should have offended you, but ain't there a vendor feed back forum anyway?

It didn't offend me one bit. I just wanted to know why he didn't like them. Have you read the article that was posted in the SEMA news magazine? If you haven't read it click on the link in my signature. I state that having forums like this is good for any business. Take a moment to read the article.

Edit: Here is my quote in the magazine:

“We market our products on numerous online forums such as www.LincolnvsCadillac.com,” said Ken Garrison, owner of LS Koncepts. “With a high amount of website traffic on forums like that, we can introduce products and discuss them with customers. They can provide instant feedback on the products. Good or bad, we want to hear what they think. We also can’t ignore the power of sites like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Search-engine optimization is a powerful tool. We also market our products to new-vehicle dealers that want to show a line of aftermarket products to potential buyers of their cars.”

I think I read that before. Didn't you post a thread that you made it to this article or something a bit ago? I did read it again and I understand. I just thought maybe you were offended by me stating what I did thats all, sorry.:D

I just wish you could get the smoke color or maybe a amber that is not opaque but crystal.

The smoke color was so inconsistent that we decided not to sell it. Had they come in the same color each time then we'd have them available. The clear lenses are clear but I don't understand the "crystal" color you are talking about.

With out the reflective carvings on the inside of the lens or what ever it is technically called. I seen them in some older Infinity Y33's and they look really good.

Crystal clear I am sure is not what its called but thats the best way I could describe it. Better left to the ambers but not used with the clears of course.

By the way while I'm at it jacking this thread ( sorry ) how did all the stuff at SEMA go as far as new products. Surely if they are going to be secrets I will respect that till they release but over all did things go well?

We are working several leads from the show. We spoke with several companies that had projector headlights but not the LS. I have some leads in to sell just the projectors for the DIY type of person. To tool up and make projector headlights for the LS will be very expensive so the alternative is to just offer brand new projectors. That was about the only hot issue we got going at SEMA. Other leads were for our newest site coming early next year which will be LSK Motorsports.

COOOOOOL! I expected the entire headlight unit to be a problem as far as projectors go seeing the entire unit is pretty expensive to begin with. It kinda annoying seeing cars like KIA's and Hyundai's and other cheaper yet kinda cars with some decent aftermarket selections in general but there just ain't much for us besides what you push to get us. Not that thats not good ;) :D

I cant wait to see other stuff next year.

Seems to have been a "heated" discussion in my absence lol! Here are 3 Pictures of my LS with Clear Corners with Sylvania bulbs AND 6000K HID headlights. Let me know what you guys think.(Oh yea, one of my Halos was broken @ the time the picture was taken, so I unplugged the other side to make it look even. Replacement scheduled to arrive tomorrow.)

Comments please.

AHH...Projectors

I would love to see some projector headlights on a LS.

I would love to see someone come up with some LED tail lights that work good. I'm looking into SMT LEDs right now to see if those work the best. SMT stands for Surface Mounted Technology. Suppose to give the best refelective light off stock tails. But if someone could come up with some LED tails that work like a Cadillac or something that would be cool.

Thanks,
Dave

I see allot of people making the LED board and all them self on HIDplanet.

Of course I would like a real CCFL Halo and the 2.5 Subarus are pretty cool but these are the things Im taking about among many others.

If you do sell those reflectors let me know, I may buy them and send them for some smokeing.

I agree with smokels with the clear headlight
Are you trying to sell the clear lense inside the headlight, or the clear corners for the bumper? I agree with the no lense inside the headlight though.

I have the smoked ones from LSK! I would consider selling my lights without HIDS just FYI

I was thinking of selling the ones in the headlight, but I'll have to see once i get the Clear bumper markers.:shifty:

Here's a picture of the Halos. I have to take them out and line them up again, but....feedback please:rolleyes:

I like the color on your LS. You may like the corner lenses better once you get the side marker lenses to match. On darker cars, I think the smoked corner and side marker add a little more congruency and the clear ones likewise on the lighter color LS's
