Whats the big deal with weed anyways Canada has pretty much decriminalized and their country is still here. Politicians here just don't want to be labeled as drug friendly even if they are.

Yeah, China and Cuba don't have much crime either, but it doesn't have anything to do with legalizing marijuana. In case you hadn't noticed, Canada is a socialist society.

Canada is very much like the United States and we are talking about marijuana here not the crime rate of socialist nations.

Canada isn't ANYTHING like the United States! Jeez! (Harrumphs in disgust.)

Canada is socialist, liberal, with government-badly-run healthcare, and has much less personal freedom than we do here!

:Bang :thread:

ALMOST harmless? Isn't that like being a little bit pregnant? You sound like a pot-head yourself with that twisted logic.

I'll admit that I've done it a couple of times but no I'm not a Pot head I enjoy see straight and having sobber thoughts.

Thanks for making my point. (almost harmless)

I say decriminalize. But there is one HUGE problem with the theory of having the government tax its use. Its very hard to grow and process your own tobacco, brewing your own alcohol is possible but not nearly as good of quality as store bought. BUT any private individual can grow a small personal crop of marijuana and yield as good if not better a stash as a government regulated industry could. So if it was legalized i would assume every pot smoker would grow their own thus avoiding the governments involvment and ability to tax.

The thing that gets me is that the "FDA", and "Others", market all these other drugs that are more harmful then MARiJuana. I'm talking about the side-effects of course. I mean some of the side effects in these OTC, and perscription drugs can potentially be deadly. My 2 cents

Dude your posts are almost harmless but the moderators haven't banned them yet...lol

Alcohol is almost harmless but we let that remain legal

Cigarettes are definitely not harmless but those too are legal as is running a tobacco company

Driving is almost harmless except for the thousands of fatal car crashes every year and the millions of gallons of toxins we pump in to our air, yet...legal almost to the point of being a right

Heck...waking up in the morning is almost harmless except for those who have a detachment from reality and can't function well in the real world

Legalize marijuana...put age, driving, and other restrictions on it...tax the hell out of it and use the money to lower the price of gasoline! now there's an idea! LOL

Fun topic! :yourock:
