2.73 = 8 open or M loc
3.08 = Y open or Z loc
3.27 = 5 open or E loc
3.45 = F open or R loc
3.73 = 6 open or W loc
3.55 = 2 open or K loc

As far as the motor, it's probably the 200hp/285tq H.O. that the 86 Mustang got. I had that same motor in my car. If you want the car for parts, look for an '88+ LSC. This one doesn't seem like it's worth it for what you're looking to do.

just going to pirate the brakes and the engine to rebuild at a later time there is also a diesil mark i heard that they have 3.73s is this tru

A diesel MArk In a yard?!?!?!

Where is this yard?!??!

how rare is it the owner of the yard said he is going to out the drivetrain in a ranger i want the rear axel i heard that they put 3.73s in them so they could get off the line because of the small diesel

went and looked at the two mark 7s 87 was built in oct so it is an 88 model and got some pics of the turbo diesil mark7

Yes. They came with 3.73s but the Ranger would be served better with something smaller.
