The 347 build is nearly complete! :)

All that is left is a "BMW Silver"/Clearcoat paint for the opened-ported upper Cobra intake.
I will also post the CFM of this experimental intake. It should be very interesting! :)

You can see how much metal was ground away(right), vs. the stock runners(left) of the intake...

Why modify the Cobra intake when there's so many available for the application?

Well, I'd already bought the cobra intake before the engine build started and I thought it would make a nice custom addition to a car I've been customizing for nearly 15 years.

I'll post flow numbers and pics of the finished part when it's done.

Looks great, how much time and money is invested in this project.
Also what are your plans once done with the car... Weekend Warrior? 1/4 mile compettion?
 
lookin good sir. intake should fl;ow well into the mid-high 300 range on cfm. will you be extending the runners or just doing the porting and welding it back together. maybe one day if can get my stuff together i might make an appearance in florida and 007 can meet the svo.
