Its sold, I would have looked at it if I was in the market.

Looked real clean to me, pretty sure it was Light Mocha a 93 only color.
If it was rust free "highly unlikely" I would have paid the asking price.

Yeah that's for sure a 93/94 dash, cluster, steering column and door panels with 2nd gen seats...maybe it was a different color interior before and they swapped it to black using parts from various years. Its deffinetly a 2nd gen body since it has the neon and newer 1/4 panels and trunk etc.

I tried buying that car in Macon... far ride for me... had no real pics... and that is a gen 1 interior pic too... ITs a scam
 
yea, he sent me some more pics, of the interior, looks gen 1....also a pic of the odometer- it's digital, so i don't get it...did you talk to him? I've exchanged several texts..he came down to 2100

Is it even possible to use a 2nd gen cluster in a 1st gen dash? The gear select indicator in between the gauges probably wouldn't work with all 1st gen stuff..the guy is lieing through his teeth..call him out and tell the dick head to show actual pictures of his car.

went to a junkyard. while its not craigslist, sometimes the car choices are about the same!!
more damage caused by people at the junkyard, then whatever put them into the junkyard to begin with...

Damn, it seems like you can come across a few Marks in the junk yards in your area. I mention Mark VIII's in the junk yards in my neck of the woods & ppl look at me like I just asked them if they happen to have seen Bubba Smith alive?
 
We should have a junkyard thread also, that way if one is willing to take the drive to that junkyard they can. Like right now I am looking for a 97 white left fender and if it was in Georgia, I would probably drive to go and get it.

BTW that 2nd pic of the silver Gen 2 Mark VIII... looked like a nice one if it wasn't in the JY.

Don't know if he will ship but prices seemed reasonable. The rear neon with a working ballast, he was willing to let it go for $50.
 
alex, i couldn't believe they had 5! blew me away.

the red one in the first pic still had a straight body and no rust that i could find. i was sad to see it die..
the silver and cream 2nd gens were also decent. minor dents and bad paint. so probably mechanical issues put them there.
the last two cars were pretty beat.

They were pretty rough but i wonder how much of that damage was done those pry-bar warriors after one thing that break 40 things on the way there?
Also sucked that the cats had been stolen off that LSC duals.

Dude, there's 3 Marks in the 7 Junk yards I visited last week. All 3 are in one yard. There are 2 Gen 1's & a sole white Gen 2 that had the landeu top but it was ripped off.

...I'm somewhere stuck between sick of my two mark projects and thinking I need another one....maybe I should focus on my '86 Silverado, LWB square body to clear my head :cool:
