Mark VIII is trembling what could be wrong?

I drove it around the whole day no problems. I stopped off at the auto part store for something. I got into my Mark VIII and turned it on. It started to tremble. It is getting worse. I changed the sparkplugs immediately thinking that would solve the problem. No good. I checked the coils and they are good. The fuel pump was changed 8 months ago. It has relatively new wires. It trembles then dies. Could it be the crank sensor or timing sensor? Thanks for your help!
 
Sounds like a miss to me.
If its a gen 1, my guess is a spark plug wire.
If its a gen 2 my guess would be a cop.

What year is the car, how did you check the coils?

Any codes?
 
Your Mark was scared silly by a GM. Now, it's trembling like a little school girl alone in the woods.

Now, why don't you be a little school girl owner and search for misfire, here on LvC before posting a question and expecting everyone to jump in and fix your car? Unless the Search function scares you?

Anyway, the search function will get you a long way. There isn't much to do with Mark VIII's that hasn't been covered here already.
 
I'm trying to get my submersable snorkle to work, didn't find anything in search... Help Frog!!!!!
 
Great thing about having Froggy back is I can now be teh nice guy again. :p
 
Parents don't allow your children to respond for you.

The Mark VIII was made in 1995. The cam and crank sensor were replaced with no luck. Luckily they were under warranty. We checked the coils using an Ohm meter.
 
Wait til frog sees that. And he is not being mean but trying to tell you to use the sites search function.
 
One of the new wires might be bad or shorting out on something. While it runs and trembles, pull a plug wire off the coil one at a time and check the spark. One most likely isn't getting it. Just guessing here.

And this told you what, again? That they were closed? Checking coils with an ohm meter doesn't do jack, besides telling you they will pass current through them.

Of course, WTF do we all know, right? It's not like you're not the first guy to have this problem... oh wait! You aren't!

Now, get searching, Speedy. You'll get more help if people here see you're at least trying, instead of opening up and getting ready for spoonfeeding.
