Based on the research I've done, I don't think the 94-97 T-Bird wheel will interchange with the 97-98 Mark VIII wheel, correct? I just picked up a 98 Mark VIII, and the steering wheel is worn. I have a near perfect wheel from my 94 SC, but from what I've read, the cruise control buttons won't interchange--but if I don't care about the cruise control button illumination, could I swap the steering wheels as a complete assembly?
I think the Mark VIII may have a splined drive on the wheel compared to the flats on the SC column, but I've read that some people have made Mustang wheels (which also have flats) work on a Mark VIII. Is that right?
Thanks!
