I thought that Lincols were for old guys. Hell, I am only 44 years old. Way to young for a Lincoln. Then I drove the Mark VIII. Makes my old T-Bird Sport seem like a slug. Damn, this thing is fast. Runs circles around my modified beemer. This thing rocks. She's not perfect. Headlight covers are faded, antenna doesn't always work, and the wipers don't always return to the home position. Did I mention that this thing is fast. 18 miles to the gallon. Better than my four cylinder beemer. Thanks for the great site. Did the gold member thing. Do you believe this. You can call me Ray, or you can cal me Jay, OOPS, sorry went off on a tangent there. The buford thing was a takeoff of the Buford T Pusser thing on Walking Tall. I used to carry a big stick in my 442 for sore losers attitude adjustments. Now that I am a little older and can't swing the stick, I just carry whatever it is that I carry. This board is great. I have owned Caddy's in the past, and now the Lincoln. In my area, they are or were not considered performance cars. Never ran one on the street before. These things rock. I am already making plans to get another as soon as I sell the van or the BMW. or maybe even sooner. Like to check out some of the local club happenings. :Beer

heck i was 33 when i got my LSC from my dad in law last year. i always laughed at linc's and caddy's "being a blue collar camaro and firebird guy" until i drove one and realized their performance potential in a big car. heck look at the new cad.STS. that thing will be eating BMW's and other high end auto's.and with the lincoln's, alot of hi-po aftermarket parts are a true bolt on for improved looks and performance.
