I definitely did not know that I assumed it was simply esthetics. And I cut it of there because thought looked decent in front of wheels. And I assume you you're talking 130+ mph

What are our bumpers made of? and is it the same for the skirts and rear valance?

Good. So I can do some plastic welding then. I have a crack in one of my sideskirts and in my rear valance.

You need to match the type of plastic. I would assume it's ABS, but if you can find where the part number is molded in, it should say what it is (hopefully). I know the headlights have something along the lines of housing:abs, lensc, bezels, reflector:something (abs, polycarbonate, polystyrene, something) but don't quote me on the exact materials
