i just took my car to get some boston acustics pro60 componets in the front and back, kenwood tv tuner, changed my sealed enclosure and replaced it with a ported one, and a clifford matrix rsx 3.5x remote start alarm. yipeeee lol :)

Is the box in the trunk and if so did you port it into the cabin?

I have that alarm on my car and love it. Remote start is great when it's really hot or cold outside.

how much for the alarm and how much installed I want one but I dont think I wanna install it this time (Ive done at 6 already on my and other cars )

Did you like the difference that the ported box did?? I have a sealed box and I am gonna change my subs soon.

i got the remote start for $500 with installation. so far so good sounds really good. as for the porting of the cabin i want to do that but not sure what steps to take to do that? any suggestions?

as for the difference from ported and sealed their is a big difference... alot louder not as accurate...

I'm gonna port mine throught the stock 6x9 locations. I know others have ported through the folding armrest of the rear seat.

god the sound is incredible... no comparison... i also got the bridging module to have a true mono sub output to my amp and it made a huge diffrence the bass is loud and can be controlled on my unit... awsome

what features did you lose by switching from the stock alarm( which activates interior lights and puts down the windows) to the new clifford matrix 3.5 which ofcourse starts up the car for you and the 2way tech and was any of the stock features tranferable to the new alarm

I have the matrix 3.5 and still can do everything the factory alarm did. Just when you get it installed, let them know that your factory remote allowed you to roll down the windows and they can add that feature on your new alarm as an auxilary function.
