My 2000 LS8 has 2 codes p1405 and p1309. Will the 1405 cause the 1309? By the way i'm new to this site thanks for any help. I found the bad DPFE Sensor still have to purchase

No, I don't see how one could cause the other. It may be possible that one single fault (I'm not picturing what that might be, seems like it would have to be electrical) has caused both trouble codes, but it is also possible that you have two unrelated problems.

Thanks i changed the DPFE Sensor and reset check engine light now just waiting to see if and when it comes back.
